I had a frustrating experience with this office. Despite my insurance faxing the required documents multiple times, they repeatedly claimed they never received them and later sent me an unexpected bill. I also paid my required co-pay, yet they still insisted on additional charges. The lack of communication and poor handling of paperwork caused unnecessary stress. I would not recommend this office due to their disorganization and unprofessional approach to billing specially for UCI students.

第一次挂号200美金：用一分钟吸去了耳内积液，夸大说肉芽也吸掉了。其次后来证实肉芽完全没有也不可能吸掉， 没有吸掉的肉芽说是黏膜。其实为了说服我化更多的钱做大手术（如果郭医生说了真话，我的确会做）。第二次：耳内积液 需穿刺吸脓。挂号前说可以做， 耳膜穿刺后说做不了（因为积液稍黏需要多几分钟吸一下，其他地方做过）， 结果又是一分钟赶人，要不就大手术把耳膜挖开… 现在很少遇见这种人了。希望以后别只认钱，要有基本的良心和医德！

Before Dr GE I suffered from allergies, multiple times a year, also lots of sinus congestion every year, I went to a lot of doctors but no one could find the root cause. With Dr Ge within 5 minutes he find out the cause of the problem, proceed to suggest a septoplasty, which was the best decision that I took, after that procedure my allergies decreased and I can finally breath batter. Thank you Doctor GE

A lot of people leaving reviews do not seem to know how insurance works.

If you do not meet your deductible, you are responsible for 100% of the bill that is negotiated for you. Once you meet your deductible is when your coverage starts kicking in.

Some of these reviews are suspicious as they both mention how they “don’t know” how cotton got in their ear when they’ve never used Q-tips. Well, neither does Dr. Ge as it would be your own secret that you are not telling the doctor.

Insurances charge ear cleanings under removal of foreign body as it falls under that terms in the ICD codes!

I’ve gone to Dr. Ge and he is very attentive and very kind. He cares about his patients. I’m just a student and my insurance sent me the bill. I owed $257.80 after insurance was applied to the bill. Dr. Ge waived the bill because we talked about my future and being a student! He truly does care.

Additionally, his office staff explained to me that if I was scared of my insurance not being accepted, I could pay a flat rate of $150. They said if he did any examinations with the scope or any necessary procedures, I would not be charged an additional amount. Don’t believe the others as it seems like they’re either not telling the truth or they need to go back to school.

Dr Ge was super nice and efficient when it came to resolving the pain in my ear. I was dealing with a super bad ear infection and no other doctor was able to help, so I’m super grateful for Dr Ge’s time and work on my ear.

I took my wife to Dr. Ge's office for a simple consultation as she was experiencing severe discomfort in her ear.

After examining her ear, he found that there was nothing wrong with it and he said, I quote, "Sorry, I can't help you!"

But, he somehow managed to find 'cotton fibers' in her other nonproblematic ear, even though my wife never put anything in her ears including cotton swabs.

We were disappointed that he couldn't help us with what we came for and not really sure what to say when he mentioned something about the other ear. Without my wife or me consenting, he proceeded to do the ear cleaning on the nonproblematic ear.

The whole consultation + ear cleaning was 3 minutes at best. The bill? About $120 in total incl. copay for a procedure that we didn't ask for or needed.

The gold part is, the procedure is written as 'FOREIGN BODY REMOVAL from the ear without general anesthesia.' Pretty dramatic stuff for a simple ear cleaning that we didn't come in for.

After disputing the bill over many calls, Dr. Ge himself confirmed that he cannot charge any less for this service that he graciously did for us without our consent for 3 minutes. Thank you, Dr. Ge. He also claimed to have given us a 'generous discount' which he cannot give anymore of. This, by the way, makes no sense as he has full control of the balance being paid to his office. His employees may misinform you that it has to deal with insurance, but no, that balance goes 100% to him. Please keep this in mind if they try to lie to you.

I'm not sure why Dr. Ge is so money-hungry considering how established he is as a doctor. But if you've read the other reviews, this is definitely not the first time and our case isn't even the worst one.

For anyone reading this, please DO NOT go visit Dr. Ge for anything other than cosmetic plastic surgery. He seems to be more of a grifter than a doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ge since 2012 and I am so happy that I found a doctor I can completely trust with my well being and care. I would recommend him to anyone looking for transparency, talent and integrity.

I consistently receive compliments on my youthful face. This is greatly due to Dr.Ge skills and attention to detail. I have not been to any other doctor for my Botox treatment and grateful that he has always taken the utmost care in non-surgical treatments for my face. Even my mother can’t tell I’ve had any treatments done! Highly recommend if you are looking to age naturally, with a refreshed and rejuvenated look.
